You are bidding on an RCA Model AP-947 amplifier/power supply. It came from a mid 1920s console radio which powered type 99 tubes. The output is a type UX 210 or type 10 tube. The rectifiers are UX 281s, and it uses a ballast tube, UV 876, and a plug-in UP-951 resistor. The unit is untested, but the UX 281 tubes and ballast (Cunningham C 376) are good, while the UX 210 has an open filament. It is fairly clean, and appears to be complete and unmodified. A flap opens on the front with screw terminals for the input and output, as well as the power supply and speaker field voltages. The AC power comes in by a plug on the right, but sorry, I do not have the cord. The ballast tube has a chimney over the top. The amp measures 17 by 10 1/4 inches from above, and is 10 1/2 inches tall including the chimney, or 6 inches without. It is a quality amplifier that deserves to be checked out and put to use.
