Das Gerät stand viele Jahre als Dekoration in einer Vitrine. Der Funktionstest verlief ohne Probleme. Alles funktionierte wie am ersten Tag. Die C270 (C274 und C278) war eine der besten Maschinen der Welt. Der Kaufpreis lag Anfang der 90er Jahre bei über 6.000,00 DM. Der gute analoge Klang wird von keiner CD erreicht. Ich sage immer: Der Klang ist warm, weich, wuchtig und saftig. Ich möchte mir das Auflisten aller technischen Spezifikationen sparen. Kenner wissen ohnehin was dieses Gerät kann. Im Internet gibt es immer noch viele Beschreibungen und Lobgesänge auf dieses seltene Teil. Ich habe eine mittlere Sammlung an Revox-Geräten. Aus Altersgründen möchte ich diese Sammlung nach und nach auflösen. Ich habe den Startpreis auf 2.000,00 Euro angesetzt. Darunter würde ich dieses edle Teil auf gar keinen Fall hergeben. Ich hoffe natürlich das die Auktion einen höheren Preis ergibt. Aber jeder, der schon einmal mit einem Schaden auf dem Versandweg zu tun hatte, weiß wie wenig so eine Versicherung wert ist.
