Classic Vintage valve amplifier. My husband says I bought this amp. early in the 1970s, It was working perfectly when it was put safely away about 50 years ago. Beautiful period style teak effect wood formica case. The usual problem with valve gear is old capacitors have to be tested and changed if necessary, before plugging in! One side works great, and sounds very nice without any noteable distortion, the other side just presents low level hum without any music. The issue could be in the pre or the power.. we have swapped the pairs around in the power and the pre and the issues is still on the same side. This is sold as seen, with no returns policy. Some age/use related marks, knocks and light corrotion. The facia is nice and clean and it would merit some time spent on it… No wooden case, and there is not a base on the power, so do not use unless a base is fitted for safety reasons. Vintage HiFi - Working Includes: Rogers Cadet III amplifier, PAT tested for electrical safety and fitted with standard UK plug. In lovely clean connection. Includes connector for a radio to be added, see photo.Garrard SP25 MK II turntable - this needs to be fitted in a cabinet2 x Ampex 815 speakers with teak wood sides and fabric fronts - the fabric is slightly different on each. Each is approx 34cm high, 25cm across and 19cm deep. Cosmetically there are some light marks to the wood and fabric fronts as seen in photos but a light tidy up would bring these up nicely. Rogers Cadet II Valve Amplifier - All Original - Unrestored. Hidden away for decades. Was enclosed in a small home made wooden box which has preserved these units. Fabulous little valve Pre Power Amplifier with valves and schematics of both units. All original, untouched, will need a health check - service by a qualified engineer. There’s no burn outs on any of the transformers and all components look unchanged. Comes with valves and original papers. ECC807 Kept as a spare for my Rogers amp but never used and now selling the amp. Tested and works as a pre amp valve in my Rogers, but no idea how many hours of use its had in the past

Rogers HG88 Mk3 Valve Tube Amplifier With (faded) gold phono adaptor - MM Aesthetics: fairly good! A slight ding in the metal fascia near the Tape switch. See picture. Wooden sleeve is very presentable, the mesh grille on top is slightly wavy. Tiny chip in the wood laminate at the rear, so mainly out of sight. Original on/off toggle switch present and working. Light bulb working. Please note there is one missing 4BA bolt and washer which holds the amp inside the sleeve, two still remain. Amp is currently working but due to the nature of vintage valve hi-fi equipment Im selling the amp as working but in need of service/check over by a qualified engineer. The amp will be very well packaged, but a tiny solder joint for example could get dislodged in transit, which is why I insist on the above statement must be adhered to. Collection and/or demonstration is welcome in the NW10 area of London. I will ship using DHL tracked unless the buyer has a different preference All valves present and working. No modifications to speaker taps, etc. Has had some capacitors replaced in its lifetime along with Im sure other components.
