Rotel RA 985 BX. This amp is in good condition and functions as it should. This amp is a beast. It sounds friggin fantastic. There are some slight marks and such but they're merely cosmetic.  As seen in the 2nd photo (of the back), the rightmost output has a replacement knob... it's had this since before I got it and hasn't been any issue. Also, one of the rubber mats for under the feet is missing (again this is nothing other than cosmetic) Unfortunately, the remote is no mas :/ there are a few housing screws missing from when I took the cover off, this obviously doesn’t affect the performance at all.

We have for sale a paper original factory service manual for a Rotel RA-985BX. Generally clean unless noted otherwise. Please read below for details: We are selling off service manuals from our old shop and that of another friendly competitor from the area. These were both very active repair shops in their day and the manuals got used! We will try to point out any flaws we spot other than ones visible in the pictures. There is often writing in the manuals but generally it is helpful service information to help fix a quirky problem a technician encountered while working on the unit. When it says service notes on back page or see bulletins on the front cover it doesnt necessarily mean they are in this manual! Often the bulletins were kept elsewhere in the shop. PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS MANUAL IS AN EXACT MATCH TO THE COMPONENT YOU HAVE! Sometimes manufacturers will have more than one product out with similar but not identical circuitry, If youre unsure please ask questions first. Der rechte Kanal ist leider leiser und knackt/rauscht, aber nur, wenn man den Tone/Equalizer an oder ausstellt, oder man die Balance regelt. Über die Balance-Regelung kann man ihn so einstellen, dass er gleichmäßig klingt. Er war wegen des Problems vor einigen Jahren in der Reparatur, danach war das Problem behoben, jetzt ist es wieder da. Mich stört es eigentlich nur begrenzt, aber werde jetzt doch verkaufen, da ich in eine kleinere Wohnung ziehe und die Boxen (separates Angebot) dafür einfach zu fett sind. Die Anlage hat in der Kombination richtig satten Sound und bringt auch so die Scheiben zum Wackeln, wenn man will. Aber: ich bin kein Fachmann und weiß nicht, ob der Fehler schlimm ist oder nicht. Letztes Mal hat die Reparatur ca. 100€ gekostet. Hat mir viele Jahre Freude bereitet und geht nun etwas schweren Herzens weg. Viel Spaß und Erfolg beim Bieten!????
