Item is used in excellent working order. Some light signs of use. This amp has very little hours of use (like under 50) - I used it occasionally with some bookshelf speakers and it sounded great! Rotel RB-850 Stereo Power Amplifier. Dual Mono design. Power output is 50Watts per channel into 8 ohms or 150 watts when used in bridged mono mode I have owned this amp for about 15 years. It has had regular but not heavy use. I have used it on its own in stereo mode and in recent years I have used two of these amps in bridged mono mode. The sound is brilliant in both modes. I have used it with pre-amps from Cambridge (original Cambridge, Stan Curtis vintage), and Linn (Pretek and Kolektor). It partnered all very well. When I acquired this amp I was using a Quad 405-2 power amp. However to my ears the Rotel sounded faster and had tighter, deeper bass. So I kept the Rotel and sold the Quad. I had this amp serviced by Amplabs, Worcester in 2011. It has always operated perfectly. Please see the pictures. There are some scratches on the top front panel and a small indentation just behind the top front panel on the left. I have two of these amps which I will be selling.
