For sale is this Ruark R4i unit...… it was my fathers pride and joy and I have recently inherited it.It was fully working when I got it but then something went pop when it was playing and then no music! I suspect it is the amplifier circuit (maybe a capacitor?)The CD played is working.I do not have the knowledge to attempt to fix electronics, but it seems a real shame to lob it into recycling, as it could well be an easy fix for someone with knowledge about these things. Will come with power lead as originally supplied.Quite a heavy unit so collection only please....can be from near Market Drayton or Wellington, Shropshire.

Ruark Integrated Music System R4i - Faulty. Worked every day for 10 years and sadly one day stopped. This is a high quality British made music system costing over £700 when new. I’m sure that it can be easily fixed but I am not knowledgable enough to know how. Given its age - I’ve replaced with a new system. Didn’t want to throw it away as it is such a lovely system.iPod (older version) docking station, CD player which worked fine before it stopped working and DAB Radio. 3 pin plug not included but easy to obtain as a standard spare accessory - see pictures of power socket.

RUARK AUDIO R4i DAB Compact Disc CD Integrated Music System With Remote Control Unfortunately I put new batteries in the remote and it worked but wasn’t used for a few weeks and then when I tried to use it the batteries had drained and it doesn’t work so there is a issue going on there. Powers on but remote not working. Selling as spares or repairs!!! A few light marks on this and a bit of the wood has come off on the edges at the back which obviously can’t be seen.
