This is a rare Sansui AU-D907 Limited, which is a special limited edition of the AU-919 (Sansui exported the regular version of the AU-D907 as the AU-919.) This Limited model takes the AU-919 and pushes it to the next level of craftsmanship, with improved performance and sound quality. Sansui’s goal when creating this model was to unleash every ounce of potential from the AU-919’s original design. Upgrades include a wood cover (reducing magnetic interference), enhanced version of the Diamond Differential circuit, a pure copper over solid brass chassis, bronze baseplate for the power supply (transformers and main filter capacitors), and upgraded outputs and driver transistors compared to the AU-919. More details below: In order to achieve maximum performance, we have changed the cases of the pure oval and coupling capacitors from aluminum to resin cases (reduces interference), and have also adopted fast recovery diodes for all rectifier diodes. To further enhance the effect of the pure oval capacitors, a 1.2 mm thick brass plate is used for the chassis of the power supply section, which is advantageous in terms of sound quality and interference minimization. Non-ferrous linear high-speed element LAPT (Linear Amp. Power Transistors) are used in two parallel connections, further improving the diamond differential circuit. The LAPT is made of pure copper. By making the bonding wires nonmagnetic, the generation of magnetic distortion is eliminated. This greatly improves the cut-off frequency and broadens the band, while improving the linearity of current amplification factor and switching characteristics. This enables a high response speed of ± 300 through rate of ± V / ? sec and suppresses the occurrence of TIM distortion to nearly 0! The power supply section has been strengthened to create even faster high-speed response. In the power supply system, a complimentary service push-pull (shunt) regulated circuit has been newly adopted in place of the conventional constant voltage circuit. This circuit guarantees a stable voltage supply not only when the voltage drops but also when the voltage rises, enabling more stable power supply. A large toroidal transformer and a large EI transformer are used for the power transformer, and a power cord with a current capacity of 15A for 200W amplifier class is used for the power cord. The AU-D907 Limited’s Diamond Differential DC circuit in the power amp and phono equalizer offers one of the widest frequency ranges ever achieved in audio - extending from zero Hz (DC) to an amazing supersonic high of 500,000Hz! As you can see in the pictures, it is in VERY good condition. There are a few little scuffs, nicks in the wood cover, etc, but nothing at all substantial. It sounds AMAZING, and the controls work crisply and cleanly. I’ve not had a chance to polish it up, but I will do so before shipping. I will package this to the point of over-protection (see my feedback rec’d as a seller) to ensure it arrives safely. Ultra Rare Flagship Sansui Au-X911DG STEREO Integrated Amplifier DAC 160W:4ohm 120w/8ohm Remote. Fully working. The AU-X911DG was introduced in 1987 and discontinued in 1991. Main amp is near the same as the AU-X901, but the 911DG are optimized in more places and a MASH 1-bits digital circuit with 4 digital in/out and 1 optical in/out. Amplification is 2x120/8ohm, 2x160/4ohm and 2x320/2ohm dynamically. Connections: Tuner, aux, CD, turntable with MM/MC, 4x digital, 1x optical, 3x tape with dubbing between all three. Frequency response on the amp is DC-100.000hz +/-0,005% total harmonic distorsion. Weight 19KG RRP-1300 USD 1987-1990 As a member of Sansui's premium Vintage Line, the AU-X911 DG is a flagship model for the company. In basic description, it's similar to other companies' flagship integrated amps from earlier in the digital era: A preamp section with a moving-coil pre-preamp, a more than minimal power amp, a D/A converter with both coaxial and optical digital inputs, a switching scheme that allows reproduction of digital sources with minimal analog processing intervention, and every fondly crafted detail the company is proud of. This amp is impressive, no doubt about it. I have to point out right up front, however, that though this Sansui may outpoint competing models in certain key areas, the whole genre should be considered as just one step toward the digital future. The format is logical for 1990, when analog signals are the rule and digital signals the exception. The most important single aspect of this amplifier's design is digital, however: The Linear and Direct D/A Conversion System (LDCS), or so-called one-bit D/A converter LAB TEST MEASUREMENTS: Diversified Science Laboratories (DSL), who performed all of the laboratory tests on the Sansui AU-X911 DG, measured clipping at 123 watts into an 8-ohm resistive load, a comfortable 0.9 dB above rated power, and at 132 watts (another 0.3 dB higher) into 4 ohms. Dynamic headroom measured +2.1 dB (162 watts, as opposed to the 100-watt continuous rating). Dynamic power into 4 ohms was 1 dB higher yet, at 205 watts. With 2-ohm loads, dynamic power dropped somewhat, to 170 watts.

Sansui Integrated Amplifier AU-919 (NEMA-1 STECKER) Das Gerät weist auf minimale Funktionsbeeinträchtigungen aufjedoch sind die Grundfunktionen in Ordnung. Die Eingänge Tape Play 1 und 2, Aux und Tuner wurden mit einem Tonband getestet und funktionieren wie sie sollen. Auch die Lautsprecher Anschlüsse (System A und B) wurden getestet und funktionieren einwandfrei. Die Regler Trebel und Bass funktionieren ohne Probleme, nur beim einstellen der Balance Regler knistern die Lautsprecherboxen. Nicht getestet wurden die Eingänge Phono-1 (MM und MC) und Phono-2 (MM) da kein Plattenspieler mehr vorhanden ist. Die Tape Copy Funktion, der Anschluss für den Vorverstärker, sowie die Kopfhörerbuchse 6,3mm konnten auch nicht getestet werden, da auch hier die passenden Geräte nicht mehr vorhanden sind. Main amp is near the same as the AU-X901, but the 911DG are optimized in more places and a MASH 1-bits digital circuit with 4 digital in/out and 1 optical in/out. Amplification is 2x120/8ohm, 2x160/4ohm and 2x320/2ohm dynamically. Connections: Tuner, aux, CD, turntable with MM/MC, 4x digital, 1x optical, 3x tape with dubbing between all three.
