For auction Sharp gf9090E boombox, Tape and the radio work fine, There are issues which are, when you have pressed the radio/tape button it stays down but have to manually lift the button back up. Also the muting button also stays down and have to manually lift the button back up and no sound from the left speaker. Has paint speckles areas of the case, Also has marks and scratches so please do study the photos for overall cosmetic condition. No power lead included. Any questions please do ask.

1980s sharp GF-9090 boom box stereo cassette ghetto blaster for parts or not working I got this in a house clearance its used with wear marks and scratches to it The radio works but when you go to use the cassette player it eats the tapes and if you look along the top left side were it says record you will see its missing one of the knobs on it and along the top on the right side of the radio on the top you will see a couple of Dent marks and its missing the battery cover on the back of it The 2 aerials if you look at them you will one of them has a bigger end on it there is no power supply lead with it The radio works using batteries as well but there will be no batteries included with it because of the problems with it and because there a couple of parts missing on it - it would suit someone for parts only - SPARES OR REPAIRS- if you need any more information or photos please let me know will post recorded to insure of safe delivery…

SOLD AS FAULTY AND NO RETURNSFor its age I would class this ghetto blaster as being in a fair/OK/good condition with marks, scuffs, scratches, knocks, chips and signs of wear and use. I gave it a bit of a clean up but would certainly benefit from a through clean and freshen up. Ive included loads of pictures, from all angles, so please check out all the pictures as these make up a large part of the description and show the condition well. Stunning looking Ghetto blaster (was the kind of thing I used to spend hours looking at in shop windows and the Argos catalogue, back in the day) which does work but has a few issues which would need looking at before use (or just have it on display as is!!) The cassette door is broken. It stays in place but when eject is used, it flies off. I did manage to play a cassette, and it produce sound, but sounded bad and eat the tape up! The radio works fine, but the left speaker is quite a bit louder than the right. This can be adjusted with the balance lever, which sorts the issue, but certainly shouldnt be like this. This 1970s Sharp GF9090E boombox has been fully refurbished, including new belts, capstan pinch roller, rubber flywheel take-up idler tyre, capacitors, and an intergrated circuit sound chip. The tape heads have been demagnetized, and a new motor with speed adjustment control has been added. The electronic repairs were carried out by a qualified hifi specialist. The radio and light function properly, and the APSS system (Automatic Programme Search System) finds the next track on the cassette in forward or reverse mode. The sound quality is superb, despite its age. The battery compartment is clean and there are no signs of leakage from the batteries. Vintage SHARP GF-9090x - Boombox - Radio/Cassette. Great cosmetic condition. All buttons, dials etc intact and working. Radio fully working, aerials both fully intact, levels dials and light working. Cassette player is only working slowly so id guess it needs a new belt drive. Ive tested it with a power cable ( not included). The battery compartment looks like it could do with a bit of a clean on the contacts. There are a few scratches on the bottom of the unit. Mein persönliches Fazit: Im Vergleich zum GF-9696, der optisch etwas mehr her macht ( aber meiner Meinung zu unrecht so teuer gehandelt wird) hat der GF-9090 ein viel besseres Klangbild. Zustand: sehr gepflegter, gereinigter und auf Funktion geprüfter Zustand. Das Gerät funktioniert . Bitte beachten Sie beim Kauf, dass es sich hierbei nicht um Neu-Ware handelt und geringe Gebrauchsspuren möglich sind.Da optische Zustandsbeschreibungen immer in der Ansicht des Betrachters liegen, weise ich hiermit ausdrücklich darauf hin, dass diesbezüglich ein späteres Nachverhandeln ausgeschlossen wird. For auction Sharp gf9090E boombox, Tape and the radio work fine, There are issues which are, when you have pressed the radio/tape button it stays down but have to manually lift the button back up. Also the muting button also stays down and have to manually lift the button back up and no sound from the left speaker. Has paint speckles areas of the case, Also has marks and scratches so please do study the photos for overall cosmetic condition. No power lead included. Any questions please do ask.

sharp gf 9090x stereo radio tape recorder. This is the more desirable x version. Listed for parts not working due to when testing the cassette section only one side of the tape turned so subsequently chewed the tape.also all the control switches were noisy with static when operated. The two aerials are broken so will need replacment. The mains connection point has a small piece of the casing broken off(please see pic)and can be heard rattling around inside.this how ever doesnt effect operation and still works on mains. Cosmetically has various marks and would benefit from a jolly good clean. Having said that its in pretty good shape for its age. Please bare all of the above in mind before bidding.
