I had it hooked up as a primary receiver for sometime now, and I’ve never had any issues. I can demo it for anyone who’s interested. BEAUTIFUL SHERWOOD SOUND. If you know, you know. I am only parting with it, because I am currently flooded with receivers, and I have no room for this one. I love Sherwood, and this one is hard to part with. As with any receiver from a 60s or 70s vintage, while it operates great today and has been a horse for me, it may need servicing (or a few shots of deoxit) at some point in the future. Surprisingly it also features a metal tape switch position as well as not just Dolby B but also Dolby C which gives 20db of noise reduction. Some scuffing to the top fascia and general scratches commensurate with normal usage. TDK AR90 cassette tape included. 100% positive feedback.
