This is a vintage Shure M64 Phono pre-amp. Just tested works good. These were made for years, usually ended up in radio stations because of their solid build and resistance to electrical and RF interference. The owner’s manual has a 1979 publish date. Do NOT buy this is you are looking for a modern, audio purist-sounding phono pre-amp. This is over 40 years old and was designed for use in radio stations. I have personally thought these sound a little bright and boomy, which is exactly what radio stations were looking for. If you are looking for thaty vintage sound, or, know and love these from past experience, it will be fine for you. This is a used Shure M64 pre-amp with a RIAA phono EQ. Ive used the phono input with my turntable but have not used the other two modes (flat and tape).
