This tonearm which has been used, comes complete with original Styrofoam shipping shell, is legendary. Said to be one of the finest tonearms ever made, this example is in as found condition, it is complete with the damping trough, damping paddle, bias weight, bias weight pulley and arm, damping fluid vial and an extra wand . The only item MISSING, is the spindle for the bias weight pulley (the pulley is present, as is the bias weight, but the spindle pin, that supports the pulley is absent (easily replaced!)) No audio cables are supplied, but this arm uses the standard RCA cables. The extra wand , is black (I belive and has the finger lift broken, the finger lift is present, and could likely be glued back in place. The gold wand is intact, with finger lift. In general, this is a very nice arm, mostly complete, and needs only very minor work to put in service. Arm will ship in original styrofoam shell, (no outer box). It has not been used in over 20 years, but has been in a box. I cannot say if it works or not except for the cartridge. I am sure it needs damping fluid. If you are a knowledgeable audiophile then I would imagine you will know how to revive it if needed. The lock clip,which the arm sits in, is missing. The Arm is being sold As Is and being priced with the cartridge accordingly. The Ortofon Moving Coil Cartridge alone is very valuable.I have carefully packaged this item as can be seen from the photos attached. The item is intact at time of packing. So you must unpack very carefully as it is delicate equipment.This was a real gem in its day... the old days of vinyl.
