Sony CMT-CP500MD Micro Hi-Fi Stereo System with CD player, MiniDisc player recorder editor, Tape Cassette player, FM/AM radio (not digital so wont pick up digital radio signal) analog line-in input and optical line-in input - see photo of back for the auxiliary inputs and outputs. Headphone jack on the front at the bottom. The CD player, minidisc player and tape player have all been tested and are working. I replaced the ejector mechanism belt (basically a tiny black rubber band) inside the minidisc player as it wasnt ejecting properly and now it ejects fine. SONY CMT-CP500MD / HCD-CP500MD Cassette / CD / MD PLAY & RECORD. First point, in the spirit of full disclosure, most times the minidisk gets stuck when ejecting. I think (well I’m almost 100% sure) it’s to do with the little flap not opening. I only rarely actually use the minidisk, so I just keep a lollipop stick nearby and use that. Second point, at some time in the past, I took the fabric grills off the front of the speakers because I loved the look of them, and have appeared to lost them in a move somewhere along the way. The rest of the stereo, where to begin. It’s awesome, the speakers look and sound amazing (I prefer them with the grill off - see above). All the functions work. The tape has no slow down due to age, the CD sounds immaculate. The Minidisk is great and plays / records without missing a beat. The sound from this hifi is rich and deep and sounds just amazing. There is no remote and no FM aerial, you will need to provide these. I have got it set up on my universal remote, but I’m keeping that as it does my amp, soundbar etc etc Honestly, for it’s age this is a lot of hifi. I can see the prices they sell for on eBay. Mine is priced to sell at a lower price considering the pain in the butt that the minidisk is. You may be able to fix this, or you may take it somewhere to get it fixed? (Hence my price under the market to help fund that - like I said, never bothered me really). If you are not 100% satisfied then a full refund will be given.

This has been fully tested and is in fully working condition The speakers are NOT the originally supplied ones and to be honest are not quite as capable as the originally supplied units. This is not too say they are not good but I originally tested this with better quality higher spec speakers as in the last picture above. You will of course notice that the speakers in the last picture are not visible identical and one of them is missing the speaker grill.
