For sale this rare and highly collectable very first MiniDisc deck released by Sony in early 1993. This one still has its manufacturers label indicating May 1993 As you can see on the pictures, this unit has been preserved in an absolute mint condition for the last 30 years, in an outstanding cosmetic condition. There are no dents, no scratches, no stains and no corrosion. The pictures speak for themselves, I tried to get the better lighting to show how beautiful this unit looks like. Additional pictures available upon request. Comes with its original remote control RM-D1M (works and tested) and more rarely with the original instructions manual (English version). Its been a long time I havent used it but it powers on and off, the display still looks pristine and no faded LCD dots and informations still appears on the screen. Vintage and in good shape there is no remote or discs. I can’t test it myself but I do accept returns if it doesn’t work.

This unit is in fantastic shape and appears to be great. Maybe youll have an awesome unit, maybe not.

Poor Sony. They just seem to have a knack for picking/creating dead-end formats. They will just have to drown their sorrows in a giant pit of all the money they made from the Playstation(s). This unit had a rattling noise in it. That turned out to be a capacitor. Not sure if the capacitor is from this unit or dropped in there during manufacture (none seem to be missing). Either way the unit was not powered on out of caution. The capacitor is included. Sold as-is, please see images or ask for more details.
