The Audio System has some cosmetic wear and tear to it including some damage to the finish on the to left side and some marking towards the back. Some basic function testing has been carried out, the DAB radio functions it plays out of speaker as well as though the head phones via the head phone jack other functionality has not been tested. The unit has been PAT tested for electrical safety. Vintage 1980s Large Bookshelf Stand Mount Sony SS-E30 Loudspeakers 8 Ohm Working. Dimensions 60 H x 30 W x 26.5 D cm inc. grilles They have been hooked up to a stereo and are working (i.e. music emits from them). They have not been electrically tested. Condition is as should be expected (dents and scratches in veneer - see pictures) for a set of speakers that were stored in a garage for 35 years and have been through several moves since the 80s. They are hard wired, but you could replace this speaker cable if you have some know-how. The speakers could be used as-is but may require some work aesthetically and potentially internally for optimal performance.
