Vintage Panasonic Pocket Watch CT-311E Watchman Rare Early TFT TV. A holy grail from my portable TV collection! This is a very nice condition Panasonic CT-311E, which sports a bright, colorful, and contrasty color 2.9” TFT screen with 89280 pixels. Images shown are of this actual unit playing TV from my in-home station. The screen on this blew me away for the era!! The unit is in good condition for its age, with some light signs of use/scratches on the exterior as shown in photos, but nothing major to the TFT screen itself. The metal trim piece below the volume knob was adhered at the factory by double-sided tape, and it is softening/pulling away with age. Easy to rectify if you so desire with some new tape. Assuming you have access to analog OTA broadcast, or have an adapter for the video input (not included) you can use and enjoy it as an actual, working TV. Sound is good, although the small size restricts output compared to some of the big tube Sony Watchmen. It’s great for personal use, though, which is what this is for, after all. It takes 6 AA batteries and the battery compartment is clean with no corrosion. TV functions work well, the radio does work but reception is poor. Includes original box which is in poor condition, internal styro packaging, user manual, lanyard, and AC adapter/charger. These come up for sale very rarely, and often do not work, or at the very least aren’t as complete. Grab this holy grail for your personal TV collection, or just to use as a wonderful retro TV (if you have access to analog OTA broadcast)!

- missing the tuning nob but still turns - radio works, found a couple stations that came in clear - the screen works but I did not hook up to anything to receive output other than static screen - tested using only batteries, do not have an AC adapter for this - I noticed that the batteries would come loose sometimes when I had it on and I had to open the battery compartment to push batteries back in enough to return power to device. - some X marks on the screen, likely just from cover and should be able to get cleaned off. - feel free to ask any questions, thanks.
