Technics SU-X955 Digital Integrated Amplifier - HI FI Separate Dating from 1990 Condition – Excellent condition throughout, nothing to speak of in my opinion, displays superbly. This amplifier has been recently checked & serviced by local Hi Fi shop, who were Technics main dealers, only this month to ensure they are in full working order before listing for sale. Please note - The shorting pins, which originally were in the ‘Ext’ ports are not in place, which means audio cables will be provided in these ports to make the Amplifier work as intended. The Amplifier otherwise needs connection to a graphic equaliser (not supplied) linked from these ports to the Amplifier. Product Description This amplifier has a brushed steel black fascia to compliment the other components of the 360 series range. Technics 360 series of separates were excellent home audio products. Five 360 systems were released by Technics in 1990. This amp was included in the X5D system and is therefore top specification within the 360 series range. The Amplifier delivers max 60 Watts per channel with Total harmonic distortion of just 0.009%, so is a beautiful example of classic Technics build new Class A technology. It also can be connected straight to a turntable with MM cartridge without needing an external phono pre-amplifier. Three sets of speaker outputs (including AV surround sound). Digital volume control with visual level indicator screen. Surround Button widens the sound you hear. Super Bass button emphasises bass. There is a front headphone socket. I didnt have a chance to check the radio unit as I dont have any aerial radio connecting in my house . When connecting radio unit to power, it shows E symbol as visible on the video . This unit gives amazing quality music, and everyone who is looking for a buy this set will be so pleased to use it. Also included 2 sets of audio connections and 3 poker cables.
