It it generally in good cosmetic condition. The lid is completely solid but has a lot of scratches on the top as weve tried to show in the photos. The veneer of the plinth is finished in silver. Pair of right and left Thorens TD160B mk2 upper lid hinges. These are the bits that are actually attached on to the lid.

Lid only without mounting hardware. Condition is not great as can be seen in pictures, very scratched with a small area showing melt marks (dont go all the way through). No crack or warping, structurally it is good. I know there is methods for bringing scratched plastic back to nice condition with headlight cleaner etc but Ill leave that to a buyer to restore it.

Thorens TD160B MK2 Turntable. With Nagaoka MP-11 Stylus. This is strictly sold as spares or repair. No returns. The unit seems loose inside so moves about. Srm sits low and moves and doesnt stay up. There looks maybe a bolt missing from base which could be the issue? Also the hinges are missing / damaged for lid but lid is present and has no damage. Condition overall is pretty good. This would make a great project for someone with the right knowledge or to use for parts. I fitted a plug but nothing seems to happen but I have zero knowledge of these so unsure if down to unit being loose? Thorens Td160b Face Plate and Inner Platter. Td160 plinth - looks like it is from a much later model. This has a much finer veneer than the original TD160 plinth and looks like it is Mdf rather than chipboard as per the 1970a original. The colour is darker as well more like rosewood. The plinth has cutouts for lid hinges and it doesn’t have the aluminium strip on the front upon which the lid rests when shut.
