TDL T-Line 2 Cotswold Transmission Line Speakers. Made in England. They have a very smooth and rich sound, with the amazing bass that is characteristic to transmission line speakers (they go down to 35Hz which is lower than many subwoofers). The soundstage is remarkable. They produce big immersive sound while being compact floorstanders that suit even a small space. 150mm Mid/Bass driver and dome tweeter enclosed in a transmission line cabinet, measuring 200mm x 220mm x 750mm. Can be bi-wired (I used to have them bi-amped which makes them sound their absolute best). In very good overall condition except a few external scratches; the drivers are in mint condition. The foam at the bottom openings of the transmission line has been replaced (but not glued on so you can change it to your taste). The consensus seems to be that TDL Cotswold model are T-Line 2s with the bass driver changed to the kevlar model. The tweeter is the same as the T-Line. T-Lines were nicely finished and much better built than the RTLs (costing a lot more too). They were meant to bridge the gap between the RTLs and the much more expensive Studio range. In one of the pictures you will see a Gramophone new products intro page from 1997 describing the then newly launched T-Line 2 and 3 models (top left corner of that page). TDL studio1 floor standing speakers . transmission line. with stands.. originally cost £600.00 and with stands which cost £120.00 .fully working, superb musical sound. 1 or 2 slight markins on verneer and some foam loss on the bottom ports . easy fixed.do not get confused with RTL line of speakers they were the much cheaper range.because of size and weight local pick up only. cash only. thank you.

TDL studio 1 Transmission line Speakers. I’m selling my studio one speakers due to upgrading, they still have a clean sound and due to the transmission line they have really good bass, they have real wood veneer with lovely grain, there is a small chip to one of the corners where it has been glued back but you don’t notice it unless your looking for it and it has no effect on the sound. The speakers come with the floor stands which house the floor spikes and raise the speakers off the floor, the speakers are quiet heavy and I have included a picture of what they look like internally, theses are quality speakers. Dimensions are 760mm H 230mm W 335mm D the stands will add around 100mm to the hight. Pick up is from Northgate in Crawley RH10 From a smoke free home Uk only listing for collection in person

Rare TDL Transmission line speakers up for reluctant sale. Upgraded Wimslow audio caps and vifa tweeters. All working as they should, the trims of the back are starting to come away which can be glued back on. The front baffles on the bottom of the speakers have perished which is normal on these tdl speakers. Overall these are in great condition considering the age of them.
