Previously, I purchased a 505 equipped with the Asahi Kasei AK4497 as a replacement for this unit, but in my environment and usability, the 505s delicate and realistic atmosphere is breathtaking, but on the other hand, its hard to listen to it continuously. It was hard to get tired, and compared to the 505, I felt that the sound production was sweeter, but it had a chunky feel and I didnt get tired of listening.Since I let go of the 505 this time, I will make a fresh start and exhibit this model as well. It is a chronic disease of this series, but the display in the lower part of the upper and lower two steps of the LCD screen is faint. Please confirm the state with a photograph. If you use the mode in which the LCD automatically turns off after operation, you will not be bothered by it.Also, please understand that there are scratches and feeling of use due to daily use and aging. TEAC UD-501 DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter) with built-in headphone amp. This DAC is widely known as a relic amongst the audiophile community and is in perfect working order. It is equipped with the standard UK 220V-240V power supply so please be aware of this before buying outside the UK. Unfortunately, due to the age of this DAC (about 4 years) I no longer have the original box or manuals. Everything needed for it to work will, of course, be included though.
