TECHNICS SL 150/SME 3009 Series 111s arm/ORTOFON 540 cartridge /QED QUNEX 1 cable. I purchased the turntable new many years ago and have updated it with an SME arm, Ortofon 540 cartridge and a QED Quinex 1 phono cable. The Ortofon 540 Mk 2, new can be purchased online for over £500 alone. There are a couple of problems: The SME tonearm has a small indent next to the arm rest with the little plastic retainer missing . Also, the bottom of the case has a couple of screws which cannot be secured tightly as the were cracked when I overtightened them when changing the QED cable. The casing however is still sturdy however with the other screws intact. The SME instruction manual is included. I cannot find the original box. I would prefer collection for obvious reasons and the buyer can test it out, but will package it well if not able to do so.

Turntable does have some marks, edge wear, surface wear, and superficial surface scratches, most prominently on the lid. Tone arm, platter, mat, and cartridge are all in great used cosmetic condition. This turntable has been play tested, and functionality tested, and is in working order, ready for use. All moving parts are operational. Platter spins and appears accurate. The light on the turntable lights up as you would expect when powered on. For sale is my Technics SL 120 turntable.I brought this new a long time ago and it has had very little use.It is in good condition considering its age but probably needs a service and setting up properly, although it was regularly oiled.It has SME 3009 series 2 arm with light weight head shell and sure V15 cartridge .It needs a stylus .Please study the photos as I have tried to highlight any marks /scratches.Any questions 07973 147156Collection only sorry.
