Ich biete ein gut erhaltenes Paar Teufel Dipol-Lautsprecher M 950 THX Ultra 2 aus dem Teufel System 9 in der Originalverpackung an. Es gibt nur wenige Gebrauchsspuren, so einige Kratzer an der Unterseite von der Lautsprecher-Wandhalterung und eine kleine Delle an der Rückseiten-Kante am rechten Lautsprecher. Die Effektlautsprecher M 950 D tragen die Surround-Kulisse zum Heimkino-Sound bei. Traditionell und wie von THX vorgeschrieben arbeiten die beiden rückwärtig neben oder hinter dem Hörplatz zu montierenden Boxen des System 9 nach dem Dipol-Verfahren. Dies bedeutet, dass zwei sich gegenüberliegende Schallwände nicht direkt auf das Publikum gerichtet sind, sondern den Schall an den Wänden entlang, quer durch den Raum sowie gegen Decke und Boden leiten, damit ein diffuses, nicht ortbares Klangfeld entsteht. Genauso funktioniert’s im Kinosaal, wo allerdings zahlreiche an der Rück- und den Seitenwänden angebrachte Lautsprecher für die Surround-Effekte verantwortlich sind. Die M 950 D sind Vollbereichsdipole, d.h. beide Schallwände geben alle Frequenzen von 80 bis 22.000 Hertz wieder. Jeweils zwei 130 mm große Konus-Chassis und zwei 25 mm-Hochtonkalotten sorgen für einen dynamischen und homogenen Klang der Rear-Kanäle. Durch die jetzt angeschrägt angeordneten Schallwände lassen sich die Dipol-Lautsprecher noch universeller an den Wänden befestigen. Ob die beiden M 950 D links und rechts an den seitlichen Wänden oder an der Rückwand hinter den Sitzplätzen hängen – sie schmiegen sich nun deutlich unauffälliger ins Wohnambiente ein.
