Zum Verkauf steht ein seltenes Vintage Weltron Spaceball 2001 Modell 8-Spur Stereo AM/FM Radio. Dieses einzigartige Stück aus den 1970er Jahren ist nicht nur ein funktionelles Radio, sondern auch ein Statement für jeden Sammler von Retro-Audiogeräten. Die Farbe ist auf die Kunststoffveränderungen der letzten 50 Jahre zurückzuführen. Sieht aber toll aus. Das unverwechselbare Design ist anders als alles andere was auf dem Markt angeboten wird.Diese Gerät ist ein Blickfang und Gesprächsstoff in jedem Raum. Radio funktioniert.Tapes funktionieren auf allen Kanälen. Das Kanalumschalten geht leicht und der Sound ist noch sehr gut. Die Beleuchtung der Kanalauswahl hat manchmal Aussetzer. Auch die Power Lampe funktioniert nicht. Das Gerät ist sehr gepflegt und technisch in einem funktionierenden zustand. Die abgebildete Kassette ist nicht im Lieferumfang dabei. Weltron 2001 8 Track player Atomic Radio AM/FM Space Ball Radio Couldn’t figure out the 8 track, I did put a couple different ones in and got nothing. It may be needing a new belt or possibly something else. That portion is non functional. The radio works great and sounds great. The antenna tip is broken off but I was able to get reception from all of my local stations. the suction at the bottom of the unit works great and it spins nicely as well. Atomic Vintage 1970s Weltron CREAM Space Ball 8 Track W/ AM/FM Stereo Model 2001. Scratches and stuffs. The radio works. Both AM and FM. Unable to test the 8 track as I do not have an 8 track tape. None of the lights on the face work. The battery compartment is clean but looks different than the others on ebay. Otherwise, it is in great condition for its age. Was a project that I’m not going to get to finish. It worked but has distorted output. I’ve recapped the whole thing but I think the output transistors may be bad. Just don’t have the time to finish it.

This is a Weltron model 2001 “Spaceball” Radio and 8 Track Tape Player made in 1970. I plugged it in and the radio plays well. I do not know about the 8 track player because I do not own an 8 track tape. When I press the button to change tracks it does make a clicking noise so it is possible that it does work, however, the buyer is purchasing in as is condition. I looked the case over and do not see any cracks or chips. The only cosmetic conditions I see are a small dent in the metal tag on the rear of the set and it appears that the vinyl covering over the 8 track opening seems to be peeling back at the corners. I have included plenty of photos so you can see the cosmetic condition. Thanks for looking!
