1940s Vintage IPC Jensen Theater Monitor Speaker Altec Western Electric 755A Era. The speaker cone measures 8” diameter. Metal housing that the speaker is in measures 20 X 12-1/2 X 8-1/4”. Driver is good. I will double box item in a heavy duty box for safe arrival. Please look at pictures and don’t hesitate to ask any questions.

ONE genuine WESTERN ELECTRIC 755A loudspeaker grey wrinkle type, DC 2.7Ohm. Few optical flaws, e.g. tears in the cone (but professionally fixed by very WE experts >20 yrs when speaker was purchased; since then in my collection). 755A since last year loaded in cabinet designed by Dr. Bae, Silbatone. Best cabinet I have ever tried with the 755A, superior sound unchallenged by any other cabinet design and design, contemporary or vintage (incl. WEs own cabs). Auction is EXCLUDING this pair of cabinets! Again, this single 755A speaker is offered WITHOUT the cabinets shown in pictures. If buyer wants the cabinets we have do a separate business. Although I say, after listening to this combo quite a while, one is unlikely to find a better housing for the 755A speaker. 1940s IPC Jensen 8” Theatre Monitor Speaker Altec Western Electric 755A Era. 20” wide and 12 1/2” deep x 8 1/2” tall. Good deco grill metal cabinet and speaker with volume control. Worldwide shipping with expert packing.

This is a Western Electric 420A JW 5755 clear top getter less. This was part of a lot of tubes that all the boxes suffered from dampness and were falling apart. So I am selling them as open box but they are NOS. They have been fully tested using a TV7D/U which has been refurbished and calibrated. Tested as 40-40/25. I do not have plate current numbers but will retest on a Hickok 539C which will provide more information. As can be seen the tube is in excellent physical condition as well as electrical condition. No shorts, No leakage. No cracks around pins and no corrossion on pins. Shipping will be USPS first class and well packed in a small box. Thanks for looking. Note: I tested this tube on the Hickok 539C as 5755 and it tested as follows (Gm micro mhos and current in Ma. ) 1600-1625/975 at 1.8ma for each section. No shorts or leakage detected.
