Collect from Northampton. Wharfedale Triton Vintage 3-Way Speakers 1970. Nice condition woodwork, the hessian cloths are a little tired, seems to be a thing with these. I opened one up, the cone was dated december 1970, the bass driver has a rubber roll surround I can confirm it is supple and has no tears. On test one of the tweeters is unresponsive, typical of this period, although it may be a capacitor failure in the crossover. Nice ferrite-cored inductors. Consecutive serial numbers. The bottoms are also good, never been dragged across a concrete garage floor...!
