Great amp for someone who doesnt mind some patina and wear, and only cares about great sound! Heavily sun-faded on mostly the left side, right side is largely black still. The volume pot is bent a bit off axis. Sounds great, this amp is just far too large and overkill for my needs. Includes pictured tubes, unknown if they are the original or not. Includes wall power cable, and power passthrough cable, no audio cables. Will be packaged securely with bubblewrap, styrofoam, heavy duty box, etc.

SET tube amp so it will work with anything from planars to high impedance dynamics. It’s very obviously a tube amp, but it’s surprisingly detailed, warm leaning but not overly soft. Previous owner made some upgrades to this one: Miflex Coupling Caps, TKD Volume Pot, and a change of the power LED to match the glow of the tubes. You’re purchasing / bidding on the item in the title! It seemed that these were plentiful at the beginning of summer and now supply has dried up! This Woo Audio WA6 has some seriously upgraded tubes. The big rectifier tube is substituted with a Sophia Electric 27B (long grid) tube, which is known as a very sweet sounding tube. The smaller tubes are very rare Raytheon EM7/15EA7 tubes with tube adapters. I did a lot of research to select these tubes. This headphone amp with these tubes sounds magnificent. I am a hobbyist, and I am building a headphone amp that I will be replacing this with. These tube upgrades cost me over $300, and they have been used very little. I am a perfectionist. I baby my equipment. I promise that the unit is cosmetically 100% perfect. Any imperfections in the, sorry, lousy photos, are glare. The voltage NEEDS to be 6.3 and 12.6. You can calibrate a vintage tube tester all you want. If the heater voltage is not right, you will NEVER get the right gm value. I have customers complain that their tubes are not the same as what I see on my tester. They say they have a calibrated tube tester. I have 40 tube testers. On all of them I have an outside regulated DC power supply that feeds the tube tester the correct heater voltage. 7. I dont check each and every tube for noise or tone.
