This is a Yaesu MD-1 base microphone. It is in good working condition with an 8 pin connector wired for Yaesu radios. The base and microphone are Yaesu. The riser (stem) is an aftermarket unit that is taller than the original riser and is adjustable for height. The base and microphone have not been modified, the taller riser simply screwed into the base. I do not have the original riser I am experienced packing large heavy items and will pack this item to ensure safe arrival at the winning bidders location. I am an extra class amateur operator. I test and describe the items I sell to the best of my ability.
