Welcome to my listing for my Yamaha KX-340 Cassette Deck. This is a rare unit and in excellent condition. The sound quality from this deck is particularly good on both playback and recording. I have fully cleaned the tape path, heads, capstans and rollers. I have also aligned the heads, so this is working at optimum performance. The tape mechanism is very stable and the sound quality is very impressive indeed, right across the frequency spectrum. The only issue is that the tape counter isnt working because the small belt that operates it has perished. Inside the deck is a fine example of Japanese engineering, beautifully constructed and laid out, with high end Rubycon capacitors. The build and performance of this deck is truly excellent and you wont be disappointed. Yamaha have a long and illustrious history of producing the highest quality of cassette decks and this one is no exception.
