The image height could be a bit more focus but its not bad. Like most B&W, the sound seems to come out effortlessly. I play everything from classical to jazz to hard rock and really heavy metal. I think they work well up to really heavy metal. I liked the metal dome tweeters a lot. While they reproduced good sibiliance they arent too hot and sizzly. The mids were nice but not too warm. I was comparing them to a set of Linn Kabers back then and I found the Linns too dry and sterile (tho very accurate). The matrix system offered a tight sound...snare drum damping was good... didnt seem to have leftover harmonics or artifacts. I played the Sheffield Drum Record and loved it. I recall my brother mentioning he liked the high-mids better than his original 801s. Bass-wise, it was more than adequate. They seem to roll off at 80Hz. However, being rear firing, if you move the speakers around, the bass will improve somewhat. I have mine only a foot away from the way and, iirc, they sounded better about 2 feet away.

Bowers & Wilkins CM9 S1 Gloss Black Floor Standing Speakers. Perfect working order. Includes original floor stands with the correct fittings. The cabinets themselves are in nice presentable condition with only very minor signs of use. Both tweeters are damaged, and one of the mid-range drivers has a blemish. The sounds output still sounds perfect and detailed as you would expect. The tweeters can be easily replaced and purchased directly from Bowers and WIlkins spare parts. House move forces sale. Ich verkaufe meine Bowers and Wilkins CM9 inkl. dem Marantz PM7004, Marantz CD Player CD6003, und dem Schallplattenspieler Rega RP1. Die Geräte wurden im Jahr 2011 angeschafft. Die passenden Boxenkabel sind natürlich auch mit dabei. Einziges Manko bei den Boxen siehe Bilder - kann man aber auswechseln. Es sind leider keine Spikes mehr vorhanden. Der Lieferumfang ist auf den Bildern abgebildet. Ansonsten funktioniert alles einwandfrei und ist in einem guten Zustand. Es kann natürlich gerne ausprobiert werden. Es findet kein Versand statt - nur Abholung und es wird auch nur alles im Set verkauft. Zusammen finde ich alles gebraucht im Internet bei über 1.000€. Da es sich um einen Privatverkauf handelt, erfolgt der Verkauf unter Ausschluss von Gewährleistung und Garantie.

The listing is for a pair of matching genuine B&W stands. Please note they are in quite poor condition. They have many scuffs and also missing pretty much all the screws. The remaining screws are rusted and seized. I’m not 100% sure, but I think they were removed from DM7 MKII speakers, or from DM2 MKII speakers. Anyways the distance between the screw holes centres is 12cm. Please measure your speaker’s holes at the bottoms. The stands are 19.5cm tall. I’m sure you can use them with any speakers if you happy to drill the holes in the bottoms of your speakers. The stands are designed to hold some heavy speakers steady. Please inspect the photos. Please ask if you want to see anything in details. I will try to make more close-up photos upon request. They will be packed with extra care for safe delivery ti anywhere in the world.
