This listing is for one set of adjustable isolating feet ( 4 Feet ) Comprising of 4 reversible mounting plates, 4 middle section adjustable feet with hidden cones, four self centering isolating bases with inset damping rings,and 12 countersunk head wood screws Originally designed for turntable plinths, but can also be used under speakers or other audio products. Using the principle of minimum contact to reduce transfer of vibrations, these feet offer a better alternative to conventional cones, they are capable of supporting a greater weight, and simply look and function better than other alternatives. I have never been happy with the way small cones look under heavy equipment so I designed this alternative. The cones are concealed which means that during set up they will not damage any surfaces that they are placed on. Dimensions: Mounting plate diameter: 45mm. Foot and Isolating plate diameter: 50mm Total minimum height: including Isolating bases but without nitrile runbber O rings: 50mm or 45mm if the mounting plate is recessed when fitted. Each foot comprises of three sections, the reversible mounting plate , the adjustable middle section, and the self centering base with a 5mm diameter O ring. The feet have a 10mm height adjustment, and can be fitted using screws, or bolts. Two versions are available, one has a smooth body, the other is a grooved design which matches the design of the record weight in my other listing, please see images. They are clearly very well designed and manufactured. The cone system works well to isolate the plinth from vibrations. Hiding the cone in the body improves the appearance of the feet. They look solid. They were easily retrofitted to my plinth. The weight looks very stylish with the older style turntables such as Garrards or Thorens. In my system it has helped to bring out more detail without flattening the dynamics like some weights do. It is also nice to hold. The ridges make it easy to lift on an off. Hi Kridon, I did manage to listen briefly to the Garrard with the feet attached and I was really impressed with the difference in sound. My initial impressions were that Pace, Rhythm & Timing appeared greatly improved. Decay of notes, as well as silences and pauses between musical passages, was fully expressed. Bass performance was perhaps the greatest difference, much deeper but also clearer. This gave greater weight to instruments generally. I think low level detail was probably better too. I really like the easy levelling mechanism which feels very stable and smooth. What Ive found in the past with mods to the Garrard is that many things improve the sound in an audiophile sense but they throw the baby out with the bath water, so to speak, by robbing the Garrard of some of its great energy. Your feet seem to retain its essential character and energy but improve on performance overall. In short, I think you have a winner in these feet! Thank you very much. Hi, As you can see the Pink Triangle turntable now has yourfeet on it, after a bit of work recessing the mounts for flush fitting the feetwas complete, height adjustment and levelling was simple and with a smallspirit level all was done.The looks and quality of these are outstanding, andfor the price a bargain, I have noticed that the isolation from foot fall?is much better.
