My old NAD 3020 integrated amplifier. Ive had this for a very very long time.... In virtually immaculate condition and still sounds as good as it did when I first bought it. Controls still all work smoothly and quietly. Its a lovely old thing, but I never use it nowadays so its time for a new home. A classic indeed!

ONE CHANNEL WORKS VERY WELL, THE OTHER NOT VERY LOAD, CD_20T

I bought this NAD 302 as a repair project. It was listed as having an output problem, a dented top panel from having a speaker dropped on it and it had been in storage. On receipt of it I discovered it also had some surface rust on the base panel - presumably from storage. To restore this amplifier to working order I have: Sanded the rust from the bottom panel and sprayed it with zinc paint to closely match the original finish. Removed the dent from the top panel - it is not perfectly flat but is barely detectable - see close up images. The faulty output was caused by one of the output circuit breakers which had broken internally - both have been replaced with modern equivalents. A small crack was found on the edge of the circuit board which had broken a few tracks and caused the tone controls to stop working. These tracks have been rewired. The amplifier is now in fully working order and good restored condition. The U links which connect the pre-amp to the main amp are showing surface rust.
