Available is this classic vintage NAD amplifier…the model 3020B. Cosmetics are good. Certainly not mint, but presents very well. Please do see the pictures. Functionally and sonically, everything works, and she sounds great! Inputs for three RCA connections, plus a phono input, with both moving magnet and moving cartridge capability. A Good example of the NAD 3020A. 100% serviced and working perfectly. These amplifiers have remarkable sound quality and are suprisingly loud if you want them to be.. The A versions are often seen as having the best design in the 3020 series. This version includes Phono MM & MC inputs. The Original Motorola MJ2955/ 2N3055 power transistors still present. The front panel is overall good, but has a chink and small crack on the left side. Its still quite solid though - On the right there is some markings by the volume control too. Neither are too bad, but they are there to see. Check pictures. The casing is pretty good. Input RCA connectors are 24 Carat Gold plated as is the Phono earth connector. Amp has totally cleaned circuit board. L & R Outputs are equal at full volume. All potentiometers have been serviced (Volume, tone etc) and work with no crackles. ALL of the Electrolytic capacitors have been replaced including larger Power Supply Filter capacitors. It is imperative that these be replaced. Old capacitors of 40 years+ are well past their End Of Life. At best the old capacitors found in these amps today have values that are drifting and they will likely fail at some point. New multi-turn trimpots have been installed for Amp bias adjustment. DC offset and bias have been optimally set. Motorola Output transistors have been remounted on new Silicon thermal transfer pads, replacing old dried mica insulator/ thermal compound. If you would prefer 4mm Binding Posts for Banana plugs fitted in place of the Speaker wire grab terminals, I can do that for a small extra charge. Message me if you are interested in that. The shipping charge is for the return trip back to you in the same box sent. Restore - Clean and inspect the inside of the unit. Repair any issues discovered or mentioned by the buyer. Deoxit switches and potentiometers. Resolder RCA, DIN, and Headphone jacks to reseat and resecure them, along with any other questionable solder joints. Re Cap - Replace the Electrolytic Capacitors in the Power Supplies, Amplifier sections, and Tuner Audio sections. Ill upgrade the audio caps with nichicon, ELNA, Rubycon, and Panasonic audio grades while preferring 105C and/or higher voltage rated caps for the power supplies. I can also install any capacitors that you provide as desired. Note that replacing the power switch is an additional $35. If you hear a sizzling sound as you slowly push it on or off, then its time to replace it. International units at 220VAC are no problem. Please allow 7-10 days from receipt to return ship so that I have time to listen and confirm proper operation. The 30 day handling time is intended to include your ship time to me as well. Sehr edler Verstärker aus 1979, der NAD New Acoustic Dimension. Amplifier 3020A. Musikleistung 2 x 65 Watt. Der Zustand ist gut. Dazu der Tuner 4020A. Baujahr 1981. Beide Geräte sind fubktionstüchtig, optisch, mechanisch und technisch sehr gepflegt. NAD steht für New Acoustic Dimension. In London formierte sich um den Manager Marty Borish und den Entwickler Bjorn Erik Edvardsen ein Team von HiFi-Enthusiasten, um das Projekt ‚New Acoustic Dimension’ - kurz NAD 1972 aus der Taufe zu heben. Bereits bei den ersten NAD-Modellen , die um 1975 auf den Markt kamen, wurde großer Entwicklungsaufwand in die Bauteile und die Klangabstimmung gesteckt. Später wurde das optische Design der Geräte minimalistisch gehalten, das ist bis heute so geblieben. Das neue NAD Headquarter befindet sich in Kanada, wo auch jedes neue NAD Modell konzipiert und entwickelt wird. Wie bereits in den Anfangsjahren wird nach genauen NAD Spezifikationen in ausgewählten Fertigungsstätten hergestellt.
