Denafrips PONTUS II R2R DAC Unit has been upgraded to the highly regarded version 1.4 firmware. Purchased directly from Vinshine audio in 2022. Denafrips has a service center in Buda, TX should you need to exercise the warranty. I have successfully updated the firmware on this unit twice now. The first time was from the original factory firmware to the 12th Anniversary firmware, then again to a revised version of the 12th Anniversary firmware with improved midrange and bass performance (most recent firmware release).
