Zunchst wurde nur der Receiver 1982 auf dem japanischen Markt eingefhrt, wo er ihn 2 Jahre lang in einem Prototyp namens FD-200 verkauft wurde.Der 1984 erschienene Receiver ist jetzt unter der endgltigen Bezeichnung FD-210 auf den Mrkten Nordamerikas und Europas erhltlich. FD-210 war mit einem modernen flachen CRT FLAT, schwarz-wei, ausgestattet. Die Bildschirmgre betrug nur 47 mm. Fernseher mit den Maen 87 x 198 x 33 mm, mit einem Satz Batterien mit einem Gewicht von 670 Gramm. This auction is for a Sony Watchman model FD-2A handheld / portable TV! Manufactured in August of 1985, this is apparently a Miami Dolphins edition, with the team name and logo on the face of the device. It turns on, as can be seen in the auction photos! When I plugged in headphones, I received sound whether in the sound mode or the TV mode, but was never able to get sound to come out of the devices speaker for some reason. This is a nice piece of vintage technology, and a great collectible for sports fans! In addition, there are apparently clips on the web that show how to set up a Watchman to receive a digital over the air signal, although Ive never done this myself, and it involves external, additional equipment. The battery compartment on this does appear to have some corrosion in it, and the tip of one spring appears to be gone, but when I put in four AA batteries (not included), it powered up without issue! Being sold as is, where is, no warranty expressed or implied. Will combine shipping on multiple items whenever possible. Feel free to email with any questions! This is for a lot of two vintage portable televisions the Sony black and white had some slight battery corrosion please refer to photos I did not have an additional eight size D batteries to test the compartment but it does come with the power cord the unit powers on I get a fuzzy picture and static sound out of the speaker the tuner and all functions appear to be working. Casio color TV 900 comes with batteries but no plug in cable. The unit powers on everything appears to be working, battery compartment is clean. This lot of two vintage portable TVs will be sold in as is condition. It is possible there are some components that may not be working or functioning properly.

Sony Vintage Mega Watchman. Model FD-510. Manufacture date is 1992. AM and FM radios work fine (just tested). TV is black and white, comes on when selected, but we don’t have broadcast TV in our area, so couldn’t test quality. Has input jack for external antenna. Can also run on 8 D cell batteries or 12 volt DC power supply (not included, download the user manual). Some corrosion on D Cell terminals inside bottom, looks like easy removal with file or sand paper. Power cord is obviously included. See pictures. Case is in perfect shape.
